The family of Morpho butterflies is almost entirely comprised of strikingly iridescent, metallic butterflies of varying colors. The males are universally more colorfully adorned, thus all specimens offered are male.
Morpho rhetanor is an outstandingly reflective butterfly. Extremely delicate (and with a very remote, localize range) undamaged specimens are a rare find indeed.
Wingspan is about 5½".
