The Morpho Palette is a particularly vibrant piece comprised of various subspecies of Moprho didius. Forms vary in color intensity from lighther, lavender blue to deep cobalt blue.

The durability of color in the Morpho butterflies is perhaps the most stable among all Lepidoptera. This is a result of the structural nature of of their hues, where very little instable pigment causes the perceived color.

As a result, if cared for properly, this piece should retain its original luster for a lifetime.
