Though pure white tint in any exotic crystal formation is rare, I occasionally acquire elegant specimens that approximate whiteness to an unearthly extent. Here, it is not only the crystal growth that must be achromatic, but the matrix on which it forms because translucent crystals will always reveal the hues of the underlying matrix. This group is the most uncommon so availability can be intermittent.
