Though this descriptive pairing may seem slightly more disparate than some of our other color families, it is actually a fairly cohesive group because the most common element here is chalcedoeny - perhaps my favorite crystal. It commonly has a silky, semi-translucent appearance and can even look wet because of its fine crystalline structure. Of course, many other crystal species are included here as well.
